Dr. Chris Carroll, Principal

Chris Carroll

Chris Carroll is excited to lead the Eagles at the Nest this year. Originally from Chesapeake Virginia, Carroll earned his undergraduate degree in history education and began his career teaching at Northwest Guilford in Greensboro, North Carolina. He taught in Guilford County and Sampson County and was part of the founding faculty at Bladen Early College. He has continued to further his education, earning a master’s degree in theological education, history, and will complete his doctorate in educational administration and supervision in 2023. Recently, he was the assistant principal at Elizabethtown Middle School. He is also an adjunct instructor at Bladen Community College teaching religion, history, and critical thinking courses.

His philosophy is to provide student-centered learning opportunities that place an emphasis on helping students be future focused using the skills and knowledge learned to make an impact in their careers and their respective communities. In addition, he desires to empower educators to use various resources and strategies that will create life-changing lessons in a safe and enjoyable environment, while encouraging and praising them along the way for their efforts. He continues to develop his ability to lead and enjoys collaborating with all stakeholders to be empowered, encouraged, and excited about creating opportunities and changing lives within the school and community.

He has a passion for the local school and strives each day to ensure that each student and staff member will know unequivocally he cares for their success not just in the classroom setting, but in all aspects of life.

Mrs. Pam Bryant, Assistant Principal

Pamela Bryant

Mrs. Bryant is a native of Bladen County and is proud to have received her K-12 education in Bladen County Schools, graduating as an NC Scholar. She graduated from UNC Pembroke with her Bachelors Degree in History.

Mrs. Bryant began her career in education at Tar Heel Middle School as a Social Studies teacher and also served there as a NC Literacy Coach. She transitioned to Bladenboro Middle School as a Social Studies teacher and facilitated the STEM Academy Lab as well. She has also served as an Adult High School Instructor for Bladen Community College during her tenure as a teacher. 

Mrs. Bryant completed the Principal Licensure Program through the Sandhills Education Consortium and her Principal Internship at Clarkton School of Discovery. She obtained her Masters of School Administration from UNC Pembroke. In the 2022-2023 school year, she served as Assistant Principal of West Bladen High School. Since the 2023-2024 school year, she has served as Assistant Principal at East Bladen High School where she is the Testing Coordinator, 11th-12th grade disciplinarian and will also be adding the responsibilities of Instructional Curriculum Coach beginning the 2025-2026 school year. 

Mrs. Bryant strives daily to have a positive influence in the education of students and teachers in order to be a change agent for success and fostering positive relationships in the school and community.

 

Dr. CeeGee Richardson, Assistant Principal

Greetings! I am Dr. CeeGee Richardson. I am thrilled to join the Eagles’ Nest. My journey in education began as a classroom teacher, were I cultivated a deep understanding of student needs, engagement strategies, and instructional practices.

I am committed to focus on fostering a positive, inclusive, and rigorous academic environment. I am dedicated to building strong relationships with students, empowering teachers, and working with families to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. 

I believe in the power of collaboration and strive to create a space where both students and staff feel supported, respected, and inspired to achieve their fullest potential. As I continue to grow in my leadership journey, I am committed to promoting a culture of continuous improvement and academic excellence at East Bladen High School!
