What a great first day back at The Nest! Our seniors kicked off their last first day of high school together, gathering on the football field to watch the sun rise and begin what we know will be a memorable final year. Across campus, the morning was filled with excitement as our bus riders were greeted with music as they stepped off the buses, while car riders were welcomed by Dr. Carroll, who was out directing traffic and greeting students with a smile as they arrived. It was the perfect way to begin a new school year—together, with excitement, energy, and plenty of Eagle spirit! We’re looking forward to a year filled with living with purpose, learning with passion, and leading with integrity. Here’s to a great year, Eagles! Class of 2027, your final first day is officially in the books!

Attention East Bladen High School families and student drivers:
Please review the updated two-lane morning arrival pattern. Car riders should use the DROP-OFF lane, while student drivers should use the STUDENT PARKING lane.

Enter through the entrance marked ENTER, remain in your selected lane, and follow the posted signs, yellow arrows, and directions from staff. After dropping off a student, continue around the loop to the EXIT. Student drivers should proceed to the student parking area.

The bus and staff traffic pattern has not changed. Please do not enter restricted bus or staff areas.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to keep morning arrival safe and efficient for everyone.

Last week was busy and exciting at EBHS! We were so happy to welcome our freshmen and all of our returning students as we kicked off the 2026–2027 school year. 🎉 Our students met their teachers, learned about our academic clubs and organizations, and explored opportunities through athletics. All requests for Senior Painting must be turned in by 3:00 pm on Monday, August 24. Painting may not start until paperwork is approved and payment has been made.

Good evening, Eagle family. This is Dr. Carroll with an important announcement.

Due to the threat of severe weather on Friday, the East Bladen varsity football game against Trask has been moved to Thursday, August 20, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Open House for our upperclassmen will now take place on Thursday, August 20, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. Please make note of this change and make plans to come visit your teachers and then enjoy our first home game of the season.

Due to these changes, our men’s soccer and JV football games have been postponed.

We thank you for your flexibility and understanding, and we look forward to seeing you in the building and in the stands as, together, we say, Go Eagles!
