🌱💙💛 East Bladen Eagles Teaching Agriculture! 💛💙🌱 Yesterday, East Bladen High School students had the incredible opportunity to share their knowledge of agriculture with Bladen County 3rd graders! 🚜🐄🐷🐐🐑🐔🐝🌱 Our students did an excellent job representing East Bladen High School and the East Bladen Eagles while stepping into the role of teachers for the day! Throughout the event, students taught lessons and led activities covering: 🐄 Beef Cattle 🐷 Swine 🐐 Goats 🐑 Sheep 🐔 Poultry 🐝 Beekeeping 🌱 Soil & Water 🌸 Horticulture 🌽 Agronomy & Field Crops But their leadership went beyond teaching agriculture. They also helped make sure the younger students were safe, stayed hydrated, and washed their hands throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of the leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and professionalism our students demonstrated. They weren't just learning about agriculture—they were teaching it, sharing it, and serving as role models for the next generation! 💙💛 And the best part? We get to do it all again today! 🚜🌱

Hands-on learning at its best! Students in Mr. Leggett’s Woodworking class put the skills they’ve been learning to work by helping repair our school mailboxes. We love seeing our students take what they learn in the classroom and use those skills to make a difference around our school! Great job, Eagles!

🌱 Hands-On Learning in Horticulture! 🌱 East Bladen High School Horticulture students have been putting their skills to work around campus! There’s no better way to learn agriculture than by getting outside, getting your hands dirty, and putting classroom knowledge into practice. Our students have been busy pruning crape myrtle trees, transplanting kale, planting seeds, working in our flower beds, and learning about soil and proper plant care. 🌳🌱🌸 These hands-on experiences give students the opportunity to develop real-world horticulture skills while also helping beautify and care for our school campus. Ms. Boomhower is proud of the hard work, teamwork, and willingness to learn these students continue to demonstrate. Today, students from East Bladen High School attended the FFA Regional Leadership Conference at Bladen Community College!
Ms. Boomhower is incredibly proud of these students for doing an outstanding job representing East Bladen High School and our FFA chapter. They demonstrated leadership, professionalism, teamwork, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones and grow. 🌱
