Today, our East Bladen staff took part in valuable professional development focused on supporting our ESL and Multilingual Learners. Led by Dr. Dia Thomas, teachers engaged in hands-on training to better understand the unique needs of our Migratory learners and ESL students. This training helps ensure our Eagles are prepared and confident as they work toward success on the ACCESS test and beyond. At East Bladen, we are committed to continuous learning—Learning with Passion, Living with Purpose, and Leading with Integrity—so that every student has the tools they need to soar! #LearnerstoLeaders #WingsUp

Happy Labor Day from East Bladen High School! Today, we honor the dedication and achievements of American workers whose contributions have shaped our nation. We also recognize our hardworking students who balance academics with after-school jobs and summer work. Your commitment and effort help build a strong foundation for your future and strengthen our community. Our Civics students took time last week to reflect and set goals for themselves in class, school, and future careers. Each student wrote a personal letter that will be returned at the end of the semester, allowing them to see how their goals and perspectives have grown over time.

The Nest is soaring into the 2025–2026 school year! Our first week back has been filled with students learning with passion, living with purpose, and leading with integrity. Administration met with each grade level to share updates and expectations, encouraging every Eagle to rise to their full potential. We can’t wait to see all that our students will achieve this year as they grow, lead, and inspire.

Senior Spots
We’re excited to officially announce that seniors will have the opportunity to purchase a senior “space” to paint and design! Whether you drive or not, all seniors are welcome to participate in this tradition.

Please review the documents linked below for full details. Seniors interested in this opportunity should visit the front office to pick up a guidelines form, which must be completed and returned by September 12.

This will be a fun and memorable event for seniors and their families to come together, paint their spots, and celebrate the Class of 2026!

This morning, our administration and club advisors/sponsors met with the freshmen to introduce them to the many clubs and extracurricular activities available at East Bladen. As part of our district motto, Learners to Leaders, we encourage our Eagles to get involved, discover their passions, and grow as leaders through these opportunities. #LearnerstoLeaders

We had a great turnout for the 2025-2026 EBHS Freshman Quest at the Nest on Tuesday, August 19th. Students completed a “Quest card” as they visited their teachers, club tables and various other spots to obtain initials. Before leaving school, they dropped their cards in a box to win prizes. CONGRATULATIONS to all of our winners listed & pictured below.
