Welcome back to another year of East Bladen Athletics. Beginning this year, we are moving into a new conference, the Carolina 1A/2A and wanted to share some important updates regarding admission prices for the 2025–2026 athletic season:

✅ Non-Conference Games – Admission will remain $8.00. Cash only at home games
✅ Conference Games (Carolina 1A/2A Conference) – Admission will be $10.00 for all sports this year. Cash only at home games.
✅ Student-Athletes – In-season student-athletes will continue to receive free admission during their season of participation, except for all home basketball games.
✅ Student Tickets – We will also have special student tickets available for all students during this basketball season. East Bladen students will be able to attend home basketball games for $5.00.

Freshmen had the opportunity to meet their teachers, explore clubs, sports, and activities, and begin building connections that will support them throughout their high school journey. We are thrilled to welcome the Class of 2029 to the East Bladen family!

East Bladen High School Named National Beta School of Merit

We are proud to announce that East Bladen High School is a 2024-2025 National Beta School of Merit. The school earned this recognition by offering National Beta to all eligible grades on their campus.

The National Beta School of Merit award is given to honor a club’s dedication and commitment to academic excellence. To achieve this prestigious honor, a school must include members from all eligible grade levels in their Beta club. This year 5,930 Beta Clubs across the country received this award.

In a congratulatory letter to the school, Bobby Hart, CEO said “Thank you for your continued support of National Beta and commitment to developing future leaders!”

Through their service projects, academic achievement, and commitment to excellence, our students show what it means to be Eagles who are learning with passion, living with purpose, and leading with integrity. Whether they are helping within our school, reaching out to our community, or striving for personal growth, our Beta students are setting an example for their peers and inspiring all of us to pursue greatness with character.

This recognition as a School of Distinction highlights not just the achievements of the Beta Club, but also the culture of East Bladen High School—a culture where passion for learning is encouraged, purpose-driven living is celebrated, and integrity is the standard. All week, these talented educators have been learning and preparing for the year ahead with district administrators and NC New Teacher Support Program Instructional Coach, Carrie Brewington. Through the district’s Beginning Teacher program, these educators will continue to receive guidance, resources, and encouragement throughout their first three years in the classroom — because great teaching grows with great support.
